If I must reinstall, is my current Microsoft subscription compatible? If I must reinstall, how do I select a version of Microsoft that will be compatible? Should I cancel my current subscription in order to get a different subscription?

I am stuck as I do not want to uninstall Microsoft yet, as I may not be able to reinstall it (as Pavanpreet has shown, installing requires a 10.14.0 or late) and want to see if I can get what I already have installed running again.ĭoes anyone know how to get Microsoft working again from this issue? also, I believe I have Microsoft 2011 on my macbook, and my subscription says it is Microsoft 365, just fyi, Im not sure if there is a distinction in my subscription as to what version I originally downloaded a year ago.

(I have had this subscription since August 2020, and it has worked without a hitch, and my current renewal has been processed i.e. I only recently have not been able to use Microsoft apps (mainly word) on my macbook. What I am confused about is that I have a Microsoft 365 subscription that I have been using for a year, and it has been renewing each month. I have the same operating system on my macbook (10.9.5)
